Where is AT&T SIM Card in XC60 T8

I've looked but can't locate where the SIM card is located for the XC60 modem. (I want to test replacing the AT&T with a Project Fi SIM).

Other posting references that it is under a carpet in the rear on the passenger side, but I can't find it in my T8.

It is on right wall of foot well of front passenger. I think.

Should be on the FRONT passenger's side, as shown here in the pic from the manual for the T8. My 2018 XC60 T6 has it there as well.

Be very careful with the SIM card. It's easy to drop it, and then a hassle to find and retrieve it.

It is very easy to drop it... I did. It's a PITA the way they have it situated. Luckily my dealership got it out for me in a jiffy. Whew.

I got sidetracked and have yet to do the "heart transplant surgery" to Project Fi. But I'm not expecting any problems, as I have seen others claim it works.

For those with Project Fi phone service, it always a good reminder that you can request a free data SIM (includes free shipping) to add another device without any fees . . . . Google will only charge for the data used.

A T-Mobile SIM card will work also in case anyone would prefer to use their service

An update; I put the Project FI SIM in the holder (with an adapter), followed the Google instructions on setting the APN (h2g2), and things are going just swimmingly. No issues whatsoever.
