or you if want to spend even less for an even cooler tool, get the PCM scan tool. its in the parts classified and there is a group buy going on right now. VERY well worth it!

Ha, ha. We've been through this before, so make with the laugh laugh and get on with it. I thought you said it was LESS expensive? I think IPD also has a simple DCD that plugs into the OBD, and then you just hook it up to your laptop and upload all the info for your perusing pleasure! http://********************/smile/emthup.gif

get the palmer pcm tool. its perfect (with the exception of reading boost, but who wants a digital boost gauge? boost is meant to be read analog)

I just want a nice, discreet gauge that works well and doesn't look too ricey. Is that so much to ask?

Re: (darylkaiser30)

btw, not to hijack the thread but just a short question: on IPD's website in that same section, there's also a AFR meter for only 59.95 which is said to be installed in line with the O2 sensor. looks too simple and cheap to be true. anyone actually ever tried this? is it any good?

Re: (phuz)

Phuz - Thanks for the link. I'm a Volvo noob so be gentle with me. I'm a bit of a wrench turner and this is my first Volvo. When the MIL (check engine light) comes on for the oil change / service intercal will the Palmer tool allow you to reset it or do I need to go to the dealership?

Thanks for any guidance you can provide.

I have an 06 S60 2.5T
