Re: New Visual Upgrades Complete w/ Pictures (rlong)

Thanks again for all the comments guys, so here's a couple responses to your questions...

The wheels on the car are 17" ASA AR1's, and the red you see in the pictures is not as bright as it is in real life because of the flash, i never was smart enough to think of turning the flash off

.

The show was great even though the category I was in got dropped because it didn't contain enough cars but the judges loved my car anyway. I heard people thinking it was a scion or audi, and astonished when they hear the word Volvo

. I got plenty of great ideas on what to do to the car next and don't worry, it's still staying away from Ricer!!!

Here are some pictures from the show, it's pretty much everything including some of my car paired with a White Hyundai Tiburon. The supercharger in that car is so powerful you can hear the whistle of it when the cars idling from a good distance away

Enjoy!

PS...the yellow RX-7 you see is missing it's front bumper from a drifting accident, something that happens when you have over 400HP at the wheels

Re: New Visual Upgrades Complete w/ Pictures (makonyy15)

Hey makonyy15 how did you remove the Volvo from the back. I was going to completely shave the back of mine but stopped just before going to work on the volvo. Were there any holes left after you removed it or was it a simple stick job.

Like your car. The picture taken at the show makes the enterior look much better than the one you took sitting in the car.

Stick job, just like the other badging. Sounds like you've already started but there are several threads about this, if you need any advice. Here is one.

Like you I am very young to be owning a car of this caliber. I like the Heico lip, but the red paint on the inside is absolutely disgustingly ugly. I think if it is possible to reverse it you should do so immediately. What are your plans next?

Re: (BigT)

Sorry to hear you hate it but i'm going to keep it because I love it and I've come in contact with very few people at shows that didn't like it. Anyway thanks for the lip comment and next I'm going to try and go with 2 visonik subs and an amp, if it's not too difficult b/c i've been reading the audio discussions on this board, then maybe the fender vents like on the Evolve S40 and then paiting the black in the headlight housings red. Hopefully getting exhaust and lowering it eventually all depends on convincing the parents that it's not illegal and won't screw up the car...both of which are hard to do no matter how hard I try.

PS I changed the picture of the inside to a shot from the outside looking it to show you it's not as bright as everyone thinks....still ugly?

The paint around the fog-lights isn't bad at all. I don't care for the red interior though.

Why did you leave the T5 badge on the rear? It looks unbalanced to me. If you're going to get rid of the badging, that one should go too.
