Went to bank to make sure that the check would clear. Tried to leave but the emergency brake would not disengage.. Called Volvo on call. Had just loaded it while setting in the parking lot. Tried everything. Volvo on call had me connected to local dealer. They could not walk me through to get it to release. Sent for a tow. After about 30 min of pushing buttons an pressing on the brake, turing on and off. Trying to move with brakes locked. Engine tried to override brakes squeaking. Don't know why but brakes released. Volvo on call cancelled the tow. Not using emergency brake. (parking brake need servicing was the msg).
