Hi All,

I have tried both the adaptive cruise control and pilot assist, but ran into an issue. When the car comes to a stop, it doesn't resume on its own once traffic starts to move. The car is not turned off due to the auto start and stop, the engine is still running. Is there a setting that needs to be enabled? In both cases, i had to apply the gas to get the car moving.

Thanks!

I believe that is by design. If stopped longer than 3 seconds the driver needs to tap the accelerator to resume. I've actually noticed the grey-ish bold line around the speedometer turns slightly transparent after 3 seconds when stopped with pilot assist. This is a very subtle indication the operator needs to intervene to continue.

Yeah, that's how it works. If the stop is brief enough it'll move again but more often than not, once the car stops during pilot assist usage, you have to two the accelerator to begin moving again.

You can also push the up button the 4-way control on the left side of the steering wheel (the ACC/PA control).
I'll remember that and definitely try it as an alternative to the accelerator, Thanks!

Awesome, thank you so much. I thought i was going crazy because I saw a couple of reviews where the car started to accelerate on its own and it didn't work when I tried.

which button exactly do you need to press to resume?
The top button in the lefthand steering wheel keypad. The one with a counterclockwise circular arrow and a + symbol to the upper-right. This is the same button you use to increase speed.

Not to be trite, but in my world it's RTFM. Have to admit that it's not manly to read instructions.

Gotta consider it's a lot to remember on the first read. A week before taking my car in I made sure to read it front-to-back. But some details you'll miss, like the nice tidbit above. It's not incredibly important, so it's very easy to fall by the wayside.

I read the manual when I first got the vehicle. But can't take all of it in at once, so will go back and read up on functions I feel I don't totally understand. With a pdf saved, it's super easy to type in some keywords and learn!
