I've noticed wind noise from the rear upper corner of the driver window if the sunroof is in the tilted position and the windows are closed, or at very high speeds with the sunroof closed.

Anyone else have this and successfully address it?

what is your build date? i had a noise from the a-pillar to b-pillar. it was worse when the sunroof was vented. We pulled the left ft door sealed, behind the fender-there was a body seal pulling away. replace the mirror seals, all to no help. there is a tsb on '11 s60 about a body hole in both a-pillars that was not plugged. mine was built 11/6 and did not have them covered. now they are- and no noise. hope this helps.

June 2011 build date...I'm pretty sure my noise is from the b pillar

No unusual wind noise on my October build 2012. Why not just take it in to the dealer and let them fix it under warranty?

I generally have a sensitivity to issues that are not detectable by others. I will eventually do this but I find that I need to do a significant amount of troubleshooting myself before asking the dealer to investigate.

Come to think of it, there are what looks like a screw hole on both sides - I don't recall whether it's on the a pillar itself or aft of the a pillar on the vertical portion.

Is this what you're referring to?

RTJ 23725 is what fixed my wind noise issue. if you want i can print it and fax it to you, just let me know.

sorry i saw it too late. im not in work again monday, and i dont have a scanner, but i'll fax it to the op if he wants.

My 2012 S60 T6 (built in September 2011) had a problem of wind noise and whistling from the passenger side-view mirror at highway speeds or seemingly from around the A pillar. The noise was most noticeable when driving in a cross wind. This is a known problem.

The dealer's service department replaced the seals around both side-view mirrors and the problem was immediately solved. The tech bulletin listed in this thread is correct RTJ 23725. The current part numbers for the seals to fix this problem are 31335274-1 and -9.

I know how difficult and frustrating squeaks, rattles, and noises can be to fix. So it was very helpful to get information from this forum that confirmed that this is a known problem with a fix. The dealer went right to that fix. Otherwise, we end up going through trial-and-error process until maybe we find the right solution.

I am having this issue but on the drivers side front window/mirror area. Only happens when windows are up and sunroof is in the tilt position. Anyone else have this issue and get it fixed at the dealer?
that was one of my wind noises. my '12 has en early build date 5/11, there is a bulletin for a missing body plug on the a-pillars.

i still have a wind noise around the b-pillar(i think) thats pissing me off......

alldatadiy.com has the info. Three year subscription is $20 using the coupon NEWDIY12.
I think that is a good deal (not affiliated with them in any way).
The only listed wind noise bulletin is the above mentioned RTJ 23725. It does not mention the
sunroof. It does seem to be applicable to both sides. Chassis range listed is 000194 to 0029209.
Build date range 201020 to 201102 (I read that as 2010 week 20 to 2011 week 2). Your build
date is in the drivers door. Bulletins include part numbers and repair instructions with drawings.
