I have mine set to 7.5 look up kmg's cbv install thread he goes over how to set it and what pressure he set his to, its a few pages into the thread I believe. I would link it but I'm on my piece of crap phone right now.

So seeing as I'm going to be in there on Friday I was going to assess the Wastegate my question is what is the Optimal Pressure for the Wastegate to be set at!?
I have heard if you have a boost gauge, just unplug the TCV and at wot your gauge will read what base boost is set at, then adj accordingly

haz one, 7.5psi with no tune.
Haha I'm going to the hardware store today and piecing one together for like 10-15 bucks its such a simple concept.

Lucky stated over 8 psi will cause the ECU to scale back the performance. I would agree, but we are talking buttdyno here and it is about as accurate as a statement from Sarah Palin. So, the safe bet is just be under 8. The closer too 8 the better, but don't cross the line, and make sure to double or triple check the PSI setting, as when you tighten the lock nut you will nock it out of adjustment just a hair.

I found it was similar to tuning a guitar (as the strings stick to the ivory when adjusting tension). When you make the adjustment it seems to jump rapidly as it seems to hang up a bit, so I would over adjust down, then creep up too where I would be happy. Tighten and check again.
