Glad you made the jump from Subaru lol... Just two weeks ago I had the Evo - STI - R - S dilemma, but yeah, that 13 speaker system was the one that sold me! :D
Coming from two 12 inch JL Audio W3v2s (amazing subs), I can honestly say that I dont miss it for a minute. The overall sound quality of the HU-850 is incredible, the highs, mids, and lows are out of this world... Must come with an oem subwoofer? 8 inch or 10?

Nice R Mag!
I respect your not wanting to mod ur car......bwaaaaaaa ha hah ahaaa haaah a...
Good luck with that Sir!
Oh yeah, Idaho is some beautiful space.......nice pix!

well, keep it pretty stock, I am looking into a tune and center res delete but besides that, I'd just like to fix up the little blems and run it

welcome! aside from whats been mentioned.... iPd poly mount bushings are the way to go when your car starts to feel loose.. any kind of knocking in the driveline from stop to go is usually attributed to this, at least as a first place to look. i wouldnt be suprised if you already needed the top engine mount but is probly still okay, volvo oem bushings sadly arent great at all. I have put all new poly bushings on my last three volvos and they were well worth the $, cheapest/ easiest upgrade you can feel. Good luck!

Congrats on getting the R, I myself came from a Subaru WRX...Couldnt be happier, just getting into the car every morning and realizing how much better quality all around the volvo is and the interior quality ++++ is just a great thing.

I don't think the whole system comes with a subwoofer lol... Unless you count the large center speaker (or the two speakers mounted behind the rear seats) as a subwoofer...

+1 On this. These were my first mods and well worth the $$$. Simple. Easy to install and immediate results. My OEM bushings at the upper engine mount and transmission mount had already failed at 52k on an 06 MT. Up next for me is the XC90 Axle Bolts to fix my axle ping.

Step 1. Done.

didn't check the propshaft but I'm so happy to have it out of there. sounds a little better too. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thanks Everyone for the heads up on that thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

congrats on the the new ride.

wish all those brackets were tossed when service was done at volvo. seems only some mechanics get rid of them. sucks, when you hear of someone having to spend a ton of money on something that shouldn't be there in the first place.

cel was cleared. just a random misfire.
time to change plugs if you are unsure of the mileage on them. hopefully it isn't more serious if misfiring continues.
