Hey guys,

When attempting to change my wheels from winter to summer, my mechanic noticed a lot of play in the front left wheel. On closer inspection the bottom coil of the spring had cracked right off.

I put these springs on about 4 years ago, bought them from EuroSportTuning along with Koni FSD. This is a little odd considering that the spring isn't very long.

Does Eibach warranty against this? If I swap it out, can I get by with just one spring, just the fronts, or do all 4 have to be changed? Can you even by springs in less than a quantity of 4?

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

Eibachs have a Million Mile Warranty (not sure what the terms are however)

I would contact EST or call Eibach 1-800-507-2338

If you have any paperwork left with your springs.. there may be some warranty claim information

Re: Broken Eibach Spring - what to do? (GuelphVolvo)

Eibach won't help you unless you purchased the springs from an authorized reseller. You should contact EST, they should replace the spring(s) free of charge under Eibach's warranty.

After a few weeks, I got the replacement springs from Eibach sent to EuroSport. Frank dealt with the entire issue with Eibach, I just provided pictures. My only gripe was that it took Eibach a couple weeks to get the springs to EuroSport. They sent two replacement springs (the second spring actually broke 1 week ago while parked and ruined my front right tire with it). It's sitting a little higher in the front right now, but I'm sure it will settle in a couple of weeks.

they should be covered under warranty.
