Was really bored today so I thought I'd get started on Project Budget. I'll mount them later tonight and get some more pictures up...sans AWD badge.

Also, I was outside with the roommate and got bored...again. Obviously this is a mock up and not permanent (or temporary for that matter). Thought this looked kinda cool. Might try to glass something similar??

I'll get the finished badge pics up later. I think I might try a different location for them.

Just do a vinyl eyebrow. Cheap, easy, and it will last for years if applied correctly. Mine look great and they have been on for about 8 months, lasted through winter without a problem.
Like the design!
Did you get the AWD/FWD mess figured out?

Ehh if I do it, it's going to be body color.

Haven't moved forward on the FWD/AWD thing. I'm going back to TX at the end of the month so I'm going to try to head over there and PMS on them.

Mine are body color.

Oracal makes different vinyls in a ton of colors, the specific one I used has over 70 color options so chances are there is a very close match to most of our body colors. I like them more than the plastic ones because they are flush with the light and give it a stock look.

Re: (genjy)

Ive only had to do it once and i just eyeballed it comparing it to another S40 parked right next to it. Best idea would be to lay out where they need to be by using painters tape to mark the x and y axis.

Yeah, that would seem to be the best way to do it.

I've always wanted to black out the badges, but I just know they will be lol-crooked when I stick them back on.
