Part of FCP Euro’s success, particularly the accelerated 55% year-over-year growth they’ve experienced in the past year, is due to their strong relationships with key vendors. This, combined with breakthrough goals, is responsible for driving remarkable sales results for FCP Euro and vendors alike
“We launched 2018 with a new approach to goal setting,” explains Trevor Potter, Business Development Lead for FCP Euro. “Working together, the Executive and Leadership teams at FCP Euro set Breakthrough Goals for every department in the company. We define a Breakthrough Goal as one so large and impactful that we had no plan or even an idea on how to achieve it when we started. This approach had a galvanizing effect creating unprecedented alignment and superior results across every measure. Our key vendor partners were clearly the beneficiaries of this initiative experiencing outsized growth and an increase in their brand power within our ecosystem.”
Combined with FCP Euro’s last Cars & Coffee event of 2018, the two events marked the biggest on-site event FCP Euro has ever held at their facility since occupying it in 2014. Over 250 vehicles spanning all makes and models surrounded FCP Euro’s facility along with free cold brew coffee from Boston Brew Company, 500+ homemade cookies from The Pantry, and truckloads of free swag including bags, hats, shirts, stickers, even gift cards.
“Cars & Coffee events, for us, have gone from a few cars in the parking lot to having to staff the retail and distribution centers to support the sales we drive from each event,” explains Michael Hurczyn, Brand Director for FCP Euro. “Combining our last cars and coffee event with the 2018 Vendor Awards gave our vendors a chance to interact one-on-one with our customers and get a sense of the marketplace from their point of view.”
After the Cars & Coffee, vendors were invited into FCP Euro’s expansion space for a tour of what’s to come. During this time next year, the space will be a fully operational 18,000+ square-foot combination community center, office expansion, motorsports facility, customer pick-up center, video production studio, and distribution center.
“The fact we were able to show our vendors what is coming for us in the next year perfectly sets the stage for 2019,” explains Scott Drozd, CEO of FCP Euro. “We want to make it very clear that the breakthrough growth we’ve seen with brands such as Rein, LIQUI MOLY, 034Motorsport, and SACHS Performance are not one-off events. We have a formula that can be applied year-after-year and adapt to each brands’ growing needs and drive sales for each party.”
