For the Volvo Enthusiast

First Polestar Space Will be in Oslo

The first Polestar dealer is going to open in the middle of next year. In Oslo, Norway, not Sweeden as you might expect.

The new Polestar Space is the first of 60 that the upstart automaker is planning to open worldwide by the middle of 2020. Why Oslo? the city is one of the most developed EV markets with more plug-in electrics per capita than anywhere else in the world. The new Space will be downtown in amongst other retail stores.

“Polestar will redefine the vehicle ownership experience and the relationship customers have with their car manufacturer,” comments Thomas Ingenlath, Chief Executive Officer of Polestar. “Polestar Spaces are an important part of our customer experience, and where we will physically meet our customers. As Norway is one of the world’s most important electric vehicle markets, it is logical to begin the Polestar Space story in Oslo.”

They will be built to a design based on a concept that the company is working on at a retail lab in Gothenburg, Sweden. The company will offer a digital retail experience that lets customers complete their purchase online, but for customers who still want to kick the tires, the Polestar Space will offer the opportunity to do that. With non-commissioned product experts.
