Every S and V90 will have at least a small amount hybridization. Along with the 48-volt hybrid system, the cars will look different and sound better.
The latter change is thanks to a new Bowers and Wilkins hi-fi system that will “mimic the sound of your favourite jazz club,” according to Volvo. The improvements include an upgraded amp, automatic vehicle noise cancellation, and a new setting.
The former change comes specifically from new fog lights, new spoiler design, and a lower front bumper. The V90 and V90 Cross Country, meanwhile, get a new taillights that feature a full LED light signature and a sequential turn indicator.
Volvo is also promising new color and wheel options to heighten the personalization factor.
Perhaps the best news of all is that the XC90’s tailored wool blend seats will now be available on the 90 and the 60 series vehicles. The 90 cars will also get an Advanced Air Cleaner with a PM 2.5 particle sensor allowing you to monitor air quality in the cabin.
