First Examples of 2011 Volvo C70 Arriving at US Dealers (Photos Inside)

Thanks to a dealer employee who posted a set of images in our Car Lounge forum, we now have one of the first sets of new 2011 Volvo C70 pictures outside the press shots and show floor images. A disclaimer: the two cars pictured have shipping blocks in their suspensions and protective covers over the brake discs, so please don't judge them poorly because of that.
Our first impression is that the cars look fairly attractive, though we do think the new front end theme looks a bit better on the C30 hatchback. The C70 does have a few awkward angles, like looking down from up high on the profile--the nose looks a bit odd. However, this two-car set is quite useful in showing an array of options. Two wheel choices are pictured, as is the new Flamenco Red exterior color. Both the cream and red leather tones look wonderful. It's a shame they'll all come standard with automatic transmissions, but manuals surely weren't much of the mix in the C70's recent years. We'll stop blathering now.
