Most of the population here speaks English fluently, and the scenery is both untouched and majestic.
Customers arrive in Gothenburg and are met at the airport by a driver who takes them to check in at their hotel downtown. When it’s time to head to their very modern delivery center, Volvo picks guests up at the hotel and transports them to the facility, usually via a stretched Volvo S80 limousine. Perhaps the most exciting part of the experience is when a customer’s car arrives. A garage door with the ‘Volvo’ script logo affixed rises and behind it, the specific car that the traveler ordered back in the USA is driven out and presented to them.

Attendants with the program can also help you plan your trip. Volvo can cater to requests in regards to travel plans, providing maps, guides and more in a very comprehensive fashion.
Volvo also offers a range of pre-packaged travel plans that range from three to eleven days. These travel packages encompass everything from a cultural focus like visits to Swedish castles to some amazing skiing for the active. Each package can be priced per person based on single occupancy, double occupancy or inclusion of children and covers everything from hotel and meals to general admission to travel destinations. The program is great for those looking to keep to a budget. At the end of your trip, simply turn the car back in to Volvo. The vehicle then takes about six weeks to be delivered to your local Volvo dealership in America where final delivery shouldn’t take more than a few minutes.
Not surprisingly, Volvo maintains a loyal list of clientele who’ve taken advantage of the Overseas Delivery program. Many owners choose to take part over and over again, buying each new car in the same fashion.
