Weiterstadt. HEICO SPORTIV will be making its debut at the International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt am Main where it will be presenting a modified version of the Volvo V60. The vehicle will be on display from September 15 – 25 at the Volvo stand in Hall 9.

HEICO SPORTIV has been official partner of Volvo Car Germany GmbH in the field of vehicle individualization since 2008. “We’re delighted with this opportunity to present HEICO SPORTIV’s premium products to prospective customers at the Volvo stand during this year’s IAA,” says HEICO SPORTIV General Manager, Holger Hedtke.

Sportiness combined with Scandinavian luxury and the individual signature of an experienced tuning company – that’s how the Volvo V60 D3 presents itself to the public. The vehicle is fitted with all the products of HEICO SPORTIV’s extensive artillery: a sports suspension that lowers the lifestyle estate by thirty millimeters while simultaneously providing for superior handling dynamics; a four-pipe stainless steel exhaust system for a decent, sonorous timbre; exclusive VOLUTION® VII. 8x19” light-alloy wheels which have a lavish Black Diamond Cut Matt finish and are fitted with 245/35R19 Pirelli tires; and an attractive polyurethane plastic bodykit (PURR-RIM) consisting of a two-piece front spoiler and rear apron with a diffusor finish, including a true carbon inlay.

HEICO SPORTIV unveils new sports braking system
The Volvo V60 by HEICO SPORTIV also comes with a newly designed sports braking system. Its aluminum calipers fitted with six pistons are a real eye-catcher with their blue lacquer glaze and milled HEICO SPORTIV logo; and perforated, internally ventilated 370 millimeter diameter brake disks provide for a better response in wet weather and improved heat dissipation. The result: excellent stability, deceleration values of over 10.35 m/s2 and a much shorter braking distance than series-production vehicles.



Scandinavian flair, also for the interior
Scandinavian design stands for the unification of aesthetics and high quality materials. HEICO SPORIV has taken this philosophy a step further with a complete interior redesign in leather: sports seats – now with extended leg-rest areas and sharper contoured side rests – door panels, dashboard and the free-floating center console delight the senses in the tasteful color composition “Chestnut”, all stylishly offset by the complementary roof liner in Alcantara.

e.motion® 2.0: the future of tuning
Fulfilling individual customer demands requires ever-more innovative offers. HEICO SPORTIV’s answer to this challenge is e.motion®, a proprietary hi-tech development for high efficiency tuning. Consisting of a supplementary engine control unit, the straightforward Plug & Play technology provides for quick and easy installation and activation. HEICO SPORTIV e.motion® stands for “efficiency in motion”; it comes with up to 60 months’ warranty (country specific) and TÜV certification under § 19 of the German Road Traffic Licensing Act (StVZO) / ABE for trouble-free entry into the vehicle documents.

The next stage of evolution, named e.motion® 2.0, allows the choice between three active driving programs via the so-called HEICO Performance Button (HPB). “Eco” (illuminated in green) offers consumption-optimized engine management based on series-production values and is designed for maximum driving efficiency e.g. when on vacation. “Sport” (white) is the well-known HEICO SPORTIV tuning program (offering an increase from 304 HP (224 kW) to 330 HP (243 kW) for the T6 engine, for example). On activating the “Performance” button (blue), however, e.motion® 2.0 notches up yet another gear, with an even-more dynamic electronic-accelerator control on top of the tuning, i.e. even more spontaneous engine response. Additionally to this, the engine is configured for sharper performance and torque curves. The result: yet a further improvement in road performance and even more intensive driving experience.
